Terms of Service

Clear boundaries make for great relationships. These terms are designed to set mutual expectations so we can focus entirely on bringing your landscaping vision to life.
1. Scope of Agreement
These terms govern all landscaping, design, and maintenance services provided by Selalin Landscaping. By approving a quote or allowing our team to commence work on your property, you agree to these terms.
- All services to be provided will be explicitly detailed in your written quote.
- Any additional work requested outside the initial quote will be treated as a variation and quoted separately.
2. Quotes & Payments
We strive for complete financial transparency to ensure your project runs smoothly without unexpected costs.
- Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
- A standard deposit (typically 40-50%, as specified in your quote) is required to secure your booking and purchase initial materials.
- The final balance is due strictly within 5 days of project completion.
- All materials remain the property of Selalin Landscaping until final payment is received in full.
3. Site Access & Client Responsibilities
To do our best work safely and efficiently, we need your cooperation regarding the project site.
- Clients must provide clear, unrestricted access to the site during agreed working hours.
- You must identify and disclose the location of all hidden utilities (irrigation pipes, electrical cables, septic tanks) prior to digging.
- Please ensure pets are kept safely indoors or away from the active work zone.
- Selalin Landscaping is not liable for damage to hidden, undisclosed utility lines.
4. Plants & Natural Materials
We work with living things and natural elements, which carry unique characteristics and requirements.
- We guarantee that all plants and turf supplied will be healthy and disease-free upon installation.
- Because plants are living organisms, we cannot offer long-term survival guarantees if they fail due to improper watering, extreme weather, or lack of client maintenance after we leave.
- Natural materials like stone and timber will have inherent variations in color and texture. Exact matches to catalog photos cannot be guaranteed.
5. Weather & Delays
Landscaping is heavily dependent on the environment. Sometimes, nature dictates our schedule.
- We reserve the right to pause or reschedule work in the event of severe weather (heavy rain, storms) to protect your property and our team.
- We will always communicate delays promptly and resume work as soon as conditions are safe and suitable.
6. Media & Photography
We are proud of the beautiful spaces we create and love to showcase our transformations.
- We reserve the right to take photographs and video recordings of the project before, during, and after completion.
- These may be used for our portfolio, website, and social media.
- We will never disclose your exact address or personal details. If you prefer your garden not to be photographed, simply let us know in writing beforehand.
